We are a division of Super Burger. Our food journey started in 2015 when popped up at food markets around Durban and then in 2016 we fixed in a food truck on Durbans iconic Florida Road. Inspired by American theme we took on the character of a 1956 Airstrem Food Truck with a local twist. In line with our inspirations we were driven to go for the American style low and slow cooked and infuse local elements to create "African" Burgers and BBQ.
As our passion for food grew we developed the Smokehouse concept. Authetic BBQ comprises of beef portions cooked for up to 12 hours in a Wood Smoker. We cook ours in a similar fashion as originally done in Texas during the 1800s. We were just as enthusiastic to jump on board when we heard about Legacy Yard and the Umhlanga Arch as it is an iconic building in Durban. Our favourite menu item is the Smokey Chuck Burger. It draws its greatness from both.
